I was already writing and showing how to embed Flash animations in a SharePoint Blog or any Enhanced Rich Text Field.

Watching MIke Gannotti’s video about what I was already presenting he had a good point, the solution is not so user-friendly.

So I changed the methodology a bit. Now the simple-to-deploy solution offers the following features:

1. Embed almost any HTML code snippet
2. Additional button in the Rich Text Toolbar to help you embed

3. A User Interface for pasting the code snippet

Probably the list of supported sites will keep expanding.

It enables you to automatically convert the downloaded Flash video (.flv) to some of the popular video formats – .avi, .mpg, .mp4, .wmv, etc.

It comes also with a built-in (as an option) torrent downloader.

So here’s an additional resource from Adobe. Community based portal where you can get a lot of experience from others, facing certain problems with CSS. And it’s well categorized also.

But this caused problems. In some cases when you’re including xslt data view you can have trouble saving site like template. What worked for me is to put a little script just before the </body> tag, that changed the target window of links inside of document library. The script is based on WSS CSS recognition so you can use it also for other cases.
